What your child practises
- Asking for help, and saying thank you
- Animals and how they move: an owl, a duck, a frog
- Choosing what to do, and saying why
Listen for
Your child saying who they would ask for help, and why.
Your part

How it begins

You climb the windy hill with the grown-up. Your yellow kite tugs at its string. Whoosh! The spool slips away. The kite sails over the grass.

Your hands are empty. A yellow ribbon of tail flicks above the trees. "We can look together," says the grown-up. You take the waiting hand.

Over the trees goes your kite. Then it is out of sight. You stop beside the grown-up. "We need someone who can see farther." Who will you ask?
