About MyEdora
Built by a small team, with homeschooling parents at the table.
MyEdora helps families plan the week, learn through games, storybooks and projects, and bring in the people who help. Here is who builds it, and who tells us what families need.
What we build for
The whole family helps
A parent leads, and a grandparent, a tutor or a class can help, nearby or far away.
Real learning counts
A walk, a recipe or a project at the kitchen table is learning, not only time on a screen.
A child stays private
A first name and a grade, no public profile and no ads. Parents decide who sees what.
The founders
Hamid Azzawe
Chairman and Founder
Built technology at Amazon, Microsoft, Meta and Bloomberg, then founded iCaria, a care platform for older adults and their families. An advisor to ApplyBoard and a University of Waterloo graduate. God-uncle to a young child an ocean away.
Mark Falzon
Co-Founder
Leads the parent and admin side of MyEdora, after years delivering technology in Canadian banking. A father of two homeschooled children, so MyEdora is planned around a real family's week first.
The Teaching Mothers
An advisory group of five or six experienced homeschooling parents and community class hosts. They shape what we build, try it first and tell us what does not work.

The board of advisors
A small board of people who have built and grown education companies, helping us decide what to build next and how to grow. Each advisor is named here once they have joined.
